<h4>A French Manor House, Los Angeles County</h4>
<p>This project was inspired by manor houses in the Dordogne region of France. It's on a 5 acre site in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The house has a U-shape plan to take advantage of the 360 degree views of the mountains and LA basin. The interiors have been designed to gracefully accept the owner's French family heirlooms while also creating comfortable rooms for a family to live in on a daily basis. F/S's on-going work on this project includes the interior design. The gardens radiate on all sides of the house, creating a variety of outdoor spaces, including a large garden off the Family Room for the two resident Newfoundlands. This garden includes their private wading pool and a shady dog folly.</p>
