Tudor Library, WESTERN PA

This English Brown Oak library has been installed in the basement game room of a Collegiate Gothic house built in 1929. The library has been designed to house books behind concealed doors in the panelling. Period oak carvings from the 16th and 17th centuries have also been incorporated into the woodwork. The plaster strapwork ceiling and the limestone mantel have snowflake designs.
