Mediterranean-style addition, BRONXVILLE, NY

This grand house, designed in 1913 by Jardine, Hill & Murdock, has been slowly updated through four phases of construction. The first Phase reclaimed the under utilized Basement to create a Spa bath and steam room, Pool changing rooms and a large Family Room. The adjacent covered carriage drive overlooking the swimming pool was turned into a bluestone paved Loggia.

In the second phase, the First Floor terrace over the Loggia was rebuilt and paved in bluestone, with a cedar pergola added for shade. The third phase included a redesigned Kitchen, Butler's Pantry, Breakfast Room and Service Entrance. The 4th phase added a new detached Garage with gothic arches to match the Entry Loggia of the house.
